From project conception to implementation and maintenance, I strive to keep clients organized and on track throughout the entire development process. Whether starting out fresh or redesigning a current website, my role is to help realize visions and translate them into a final product.
When working on a project I work thoughtfully, with every aspect of the end solution taken into consideration. I don't make design choices randomly, or sacrifice usability with design that's simply inspired by being different.
The websites I develop consist of more then just what is seen on screen. Below are just some of the better practices I follow when developing websites in order to optimize them for the web and future scalability.
- Proper HTML syntax - Browsers like Internet Explorer often display content with missing tags, attributes, etc. Using proper markup ensures compatibility across more platforms and less chance of error.
- Seperation of design from content - CSS is utilized throughout all my websites to not only keep design consistent but promote efficiency in future revisions.
- Graphics Optimization - After creating web graphics each one is optimized using various methods depending on the type of image.
- XHTML Compliant - XHTML compliant documents ensure future compatibility with web standards.
- Search engine optimization - Through development search engine optimization is kept in mind with site structure, page titles, keywords, etc.
- Best Methods - Anything you've seen on the web can be done multiple ways, there's always one that's better then the other depending on the situation. I always make my best effort to keep in mind not only the server but the client in viewing and using the website.
